PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
The Mostly Modern Festival is two-week festival that offers a combination of intensive one-on-one instruction and professional performance experience, that celebrates all things 'modern'. There will be over 100 students & 25 faculty members. There will be an orchestra, a choir, 4 chamber ensembles, masterclasses, lectures, and private lessons. The Institute is open to musicians 18 and older, and welcomes participants in all stages of their career.
MMF takes place at Skidmore College at the Arthur Zankel Music Center. Skidmore College is ideally located in Saratoga Springs, New York, three hours by car from NYC, Boston, Philadelphia and Montreal. All public performances take place at the stunning Helen Filene Ladd Concert Hall, a 600-seat acoustically tuned space. Meet, study and perform with conductors, composers and performers in an intimate, welcoming setting– these relationships will last a lifetime. Composers and conductors receive top-of-the-line audio and 4-shot video of their works/performances that can be promoted worldwide.
The festival is ideally located in beautiful Saratoga Springs, NY, a world-renowned destination with an award-winning downtown. New York, Boston, Montreal and Philadelphia are all within a three-hour drive. The festival takes place at Skidmore College and all the concerts are held at the Arthur Zankel Music Center.
Program is for ages 18 and older and welcomes participants in all stages of their career.

Mostly Modern Festival is a brand-new festival, giving students (singers, instrumentalists, conductors & composers) the chance to be immersed in contemporary music with top leaders in the field. One-on-one instruction, perform side-by-side with pros, all taking place at stunning Zankel Performing Arts Center in beautiful Saratoga Springs, New York.
