Sara Buechner most prominent transgendered classical musician talks about her life

June 1, 2023 | By Carrie Feiner
President - CFE Concert Mgmt

Baltimore MD

Prelude to Pride, Spire Series / First & Franklin Church

In the first solo appearance Sara has given in many years, in Baltimore — Sara's home town — Sara will perform favorite works of Mozart, Chopin, Federico Longás and George Gershwin. She will also talk about her early years in Baltimore and her life as the most prominent transgender classical musician of our time.

It feels urgent to do so, at a time when LGBTQIA folks are being demonized as never before. This is why we must all stand proudly, for Pride.

I am so profoundly touched to give this personal appearance in the city where my musical artistry was formed.

This concert begins at 3:00 p.m.
