A performance broadcast online from the stage of Theater Raymond Kabbaz.

LOS ANGELES, CA – The Theatre Raymond Kabbaz (TRK) proudly presents the Los Angeles Virtuosi Orchestra (LAV), conducted by the remarkable Maestro Carlo Ponti, and streamed from the stage of Theatre Raymond Kabbaz on May 21, 2021 at 8pm. Proceeds from this concert benefit music education.

Celebrate unforgettable orchestral masterworks by Pachelbel, Mozart, and Debussy in an exciting concert as LAV showcases three talented up-and-coming soloists (Audrey Park (violin), YuEun Kim (violin), Julianne Jimenez (harp)), and violin students from Pacoima Elementary School.

LAV is the only professional orchestra in the United States to offer aspiring young soloists and students unparalleled opportunity to rehearse and perform with the most talented musicians in the country. Access to a professional orchestra allows the next generation of aspiring talent to see how the pros work on their craft and pushes them to aspire to greater heights, bringing a professional career into focus.

Join us for a “Rendezvous with Maestro Ponti” immediately before the performance at 8:00pm to learn more about the music and about LAV’s mission and service as a unique educational resource for Los Angeles youth and aspiring artists. Maestro Carlo Ponti is the founder of LAV, prior to which he was the music director and principal conductor of the San Bernardino Symphony, and Associate Conductor of the Russian National Orchestra.

Net profit from this concert goes towards the advancement and support of music education programs in schools in Southern California. LAV works with a number of partner schools enriching the lives of young people through music education in the following schools: Hollywood High School, Le Lycée Français de Los Angeles, Orange County Music and Dance, Pacoima Elementary School, and West Hollywood Youth Orchestra.
