For immediate release - The next three months hold debut performances for Keitaro Harada with four symphonies. February 1 and 2, Harada will step in for Berkeley Symphony's Music Director Joanna Carneiro as she awaits the birth of her fourth child. The program includes Fauré’s Cantique de Jean Racine, Gordon Getty’s Joan and the Bells and Berlioz’s Symphonie fantastique. He, then, heads to Memphis Symphony to conduct E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial Live in Concert followed by a quick trip to Japan for a return to Suntory Hall to conduct The Music of John Williams: Star Wars and Beyond with Tokyo Philharmonic. March holds his debuts with Fort Worth Symphony leading Disney's Fantasia: Live in Concert as well as with Louisville Orchestra leading Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf. He returns to Fort Worth in May for Raiders of the Lost Ark in Concert.

In his third season as Associate Conductor of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and Cincinnati Pops, Harada regularly assists Music Director Louis Langrée, conducts the CSO, POPS, and assists James Conlon and Juanjo Mena for the May Festival. Keitaro also holds the position of Associate Conductor of the Arizona Opera. With a growing schedule as an international guest conductor, Harada’s recent and coming seasons mark several high-profile engagements including an invitation from Valery Gergiev to serve on the faculty of the 2018 Pacific Music Festival and a Fall 2017 run of Bizet’s Carmen for Sofia National Opera and Ballet in Bulgaria that will reprise with a Japan tour of the same production later this year.
