New York, NY (February 3, 2025) – Primo Artists is honored to announce that clients won two awards at the 67th Annual GRAMMY Awards®, held Sunday, February 2, 2025 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

PR client soprano Karen Slack’s debut album Beyond the Years — Unpublished Songs of Florence Price (July 26, 2024, Azica Records) has won the GRAMMY® Award in the Best Classical Solo Vocal category. Produced by Azica’s Alan Bise and ONEcomposer, the album features Slack alongside pianist Michelle Cann. Slack’s first-ever commercial recording, Beyond the Years features 19 unpublished songs by Price, including 16 world premiere recordings.

Composer and pianist Pascal Le Boeuf was awarded the GRAMMY® Award for Best Instrumental Composition for “Strands,” a movement from his album-length piece Are We Dreaming The Same Dream? performed by PR client Akropolis Reed Quintet, alongside drummer Christian Euman, released April 26, 2024 on Bright Shiny Things. Le Boeuf’s work reflects the influences of Geri Allen, Dave Brubeck, Charles Mingus, and Leonard Bernstein (all of whom explored themes of American unity or disunity). Le Boeuf probes the idea that diverse strands of experience, more than one unified “dream,” are what define America – and ignite artistic creation.
