Peter Boyer's 50 States 'Rhapsody' Tour Begins Season Three

The Rhapsody Initiative begins its third season with the Lake Washington Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Julia Tai, on September 14th with pianist Jeffrey Biegel featuring Peter Boyer's "Rhapsody in Red, White & Blue", along with George Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue" in the second Washington state performance of the Peter Boyer Rhapsody. The performances will continue through the 50 state journey, concluding August 2027. The Rhapsody Initiative is the first 50 state project without buy-in fees from orchestras, and the first 50 state project for a new work for soloist and orchestra. It is also the first 50 state project for a new work for piano and orchestra. Orchestras continue to join this historic initiative, assuming their performances through August 2027, all orchestras listed in every Conductor Score in perpetuity.
