Tour Engagements LACC’s tour to the British Isles begins in Belfast, Northern Ireland, with a performance at St Mark’s Church, Dundela, where the beloved author C.S. Lewis (Chronicles of Narnia) was baptized in 1899 (July 1), followed by an appearance at the Church of the Assumption, a Gothic Revival landmark built in 1841 in the picturesque seaside village of Dalkey, near Dublin, Ireland (July 4). Sandwiched between those engagements, LACC’s Chamber Singers will also sing at a VIP reception for an Independence Day Celebration hosted by the US Embassy in Dublin (July 3).

Heading to England, LACC next performs for patients at the Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital, considered one of the world’s leading children’s hospitals, located in the London Borough of Camden (July 5); the Old Royal Naval College Chapel, a World Heritage Site in Greenwich, London (July 6); and the Wesley Memorial Methodist Church in Oxford, home to Oxford University (July 7).

The final stop on the tour is Wales, where LACC will give four performances at the prestigious Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod, a six-day festival that features more than 5,000 singers, dancers, and musicians from some 50 countries. LACC will be featured in three performances on July 9 and present its final concert on the festival’s Oakleigh Stage on July 10. Luciano Pavarotti, James Galway, and the band Ladysmith Black Mambazo are among the artists who have graced the festival’s stages over the years.
