FOREVER SCHUMANN
Edelweiss Emission releases a Limited Edition series of 18 exceptional recordings by the pianist Daniel Levy, honouring the works of Schumann.

Edelweiss Emission is thrilled to introduce FOREVER SCHUMANN, a landmark series of 18 recordings by the esteemed pianist Daniel Levy, dedicated to the music of Robert Schumann.

This independent classical label proudly presents a curated collection spanning 112 of Schumann's works. Set to release from April through May 2025, the series features solo piano pieces, chamber music with piano, lieder, and compositions for piano and orchestra. This collection embodies Levy’s lifelong dedication to studying and interpreting Schumann’s masterpieces.

Comprising both new recordings and rare, out-of-print material—including live performances in European concert halls—the FOREVER SCHUMANN series is a testament to Levy's distinctive artistry. His interpretations bring Schumann’s music to life with unmatched precision and emotional depth, solidifying Levy’s reputation as one of the world’s foremost Schumann interpreters. 

The series not only showcases solo piano works but also highlights memorable collaborations with renowned musicians, including the celebrated baritone Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, the Philharmonia Orchestra, famed Austrian baritone Wolfgang Holzmair, clarinetist Antony Morf, violinist Nicolás Chumachenco, soprano Cristina Mantese, oboist Pietro Borgonovo, horn player Marcello Rota, and the Zürich Quartet.
