The Berkeley Symphony and Music Director Joseph Young to Be Featured on KALW Public Media Throughout October
Tune in on-air or online beginning Sunday, October 6
The Berkeley Symphony and Music Director Joseph Young will be featured on KALW Public Media throughout October. Each Sunday evening, KALW will broadcast a two-hour program centered around a recent Berkeley Symphony concert. Programs will be available for streaming nationwide at www.kalw.org and via terrestrial radio in the Bay Area on 91.7 FM, with on-demand streaming available for one week following the initial broadcast.
In these four programs, Joseph Young joins host Sarah Cahill to talk about how his inclusive programming welcomes diverse audiences into the concert hall; how listening to Brahms can make you feel less alone; why he pairs Duke Ellington with Modest Mussorgsky; and the role mentorship plays in his life.
