Apollo5 Partners with JEJ Artists for North American Engagements

May 22, 2024 | By Janet Jarriel
Manger/Founder

JEJ Artists welcomes the award-winning British vocal ensemble, Apollo5, for mangagement of their North American engagements.

Praised for their powerful singing and distinctive sound, Apollo5 proves how dynamic only five voices can be. With such small forces they masterfully showcase each individual voice while still achieving their critically acclaimed blend. Whether performing jazz, pop, classical or even early sacred music, they are known for their exceptional communication with audiences, frequently performing from memory. BBC Music Magazine lauded their artistry: “Immaculately sung one-to-a-part. Everything here is faultless, from the perfectly balanced pace and imaginative choice of repertoire to Apollo5’s exceptional cohesion and effortless style.”

A part of the launch of the LIVE from London broadcasts during the pandemic that brought together many of the world’s leading vocal ensembles and orchestras, Apollo5 has gained a global following and released six studio albums. They have performed at the Barbican Centre, the Royal Albert Hall, Wembley Arena, St John’s Smith Square and St Martin-in-the-Fields, and the group has toured extensively across Belgium, Germany, and France. 2023/24 highlights include three tours to the USA – including an inaugural Apollo5 Summer School and Festival in Hawaii – and a trip to the Far East, performances in Portugal with The Cascais & Oeiras Chamber Orchestra, and debuts at The Philharmonie Luxembourg and London’s Wigmore Hall.

Apollo5 is part of the VOCES8 Foundation and works alongside Voces8 and Paul Smith to deliver a transformative program of workshops, masterclasses and concerts to over 40,000 young people annually in the UK, Europe, the USA and Asia. Apollo5’s North American engagements will include recitals, seasonal programs with orchestras, collaborative concerts with other choral ensembles and arts institutions as well as educational and community building programs.
