Palo Alto, CA (April 5, 2023) — iSing Silicon Valley concludes its 10th anniversary season showcasing over 200 young singers in two spring concerts on Sunday, May 21, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. at Cathedral Basilica of St. Joseph. 

Featuring music from Asia, iSing’s spring concerts include the world premiere of Lenggang Kangkung by Tracy Wong (Malaysia), and Where the Insects Cry by Santa Ratniece (text taken from ancient Japanese poems), both commissioned by iSing. The program also includes Up the Crane Tower by Chen Yi (China), and a preview of the showcase of repertoire from around the world to be performed by iSing’s elite choir HD at the World Choir Games competition in Gangyeung, South Korea in July 2023.  

iSing also presents its Spring Sing on Saturday, May 6 at 4:00pm at New Community Church (Menlo Park). The Spring Sing is a family-friendly showcase featuring the ever-growing musical skills of iSing’s youngest singers in Minis and Melodics. 

On Sunday, May 14, iSing showcases the third to fifth grade singers of iSing@RWC, iSing's growing program for girls who attend Title 1 Schools in Redwood City, at a special Mother’s Day recital.

iSing additionally releases its second full-length album love & light, on April 14, 2023 on Avie Records. A collaboration with GRAMMY®Award-winning soprano Esteli´ Gomez and virtuosa harpist Cheryl Fulton, the album features iSing commissions from Sungji Hong and Kenyon Duncan, and other works on themes of remembrance, love, wisdom, and healing, from the ecstatic chant of the 12th-century abbess Hildegard of Bingen to ascendant contemporary choral works by Sir James MacMillan, Andrew Smith, and Kile Smith.
