Legato Arts will present Rachel KyeJung Park, piano at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall on Monday evening, March 13, 2023 at 8:00 PM.  Ms. Park will perform the American premiere of excerpts from K.W. Johann Kim’s 12 heilige Glockenklänge für Klavier, and works by Debussy, Ravel, Chopin, Beethoven and Rachmaninoff.

About the Artist

 

Rachel KyeJung Park is an active solo and collaborative pianist, having given concerts throughout the United States.  She joined the Pilgrim Ensemble as pianist, giving concerts in major cities in South Korea, China, Taiwan, Thailand, Iraq, and Kuwait.  She also acted as collaborative pianist with Tim Zimmerman and the King’s Brass.  As winner of the Plano Texas International Academy & Festival Concerto Competition, she performed with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra.

 

Originally from Seoul, South Korea, Ms. Park was named as an honorary ambassador for the Korean organizations Food for the Hungry International and the Africa Future Foundation.  She served as honorary cultural ambassador to the Seoul Metro.
