For immediate release — The Emerson String Quartet announce their feature-length documentary, LATE STYLE: The Final Notes of the Emerson Quartet scheduled to celebrate its world premiere in 2024.

Approaching the end of an almost five decade-long, GRAMMY-filled career, one of the world's foremost string quartets looks back on their colorful journey, friendship, battles, and successes. They are excited to announce that production work has started on a feature-length documentary, which will offer intimate glances into their decades-long friendship, behind-the-scenes of their Farewell Tour, performances in renowned concert halls, and footage from their early days to the emotional final moments of their last curtain call.

The members of the Emerson String Quartet seek to pass the torch of their dynamic music making to the next generation of aspiring artists.

The film is written and directed by Tristan Cook and produced by Birgit Gernbock in association with Unison Media.
