Manny Manuel @ Lehman Center

Lehman Center for the Performing Arts presents Manny Manuel, known throughout the Latin music world as "The King of Hearts"! On Saturday, June 18th, 2022, at 8pm, Manny Manuel will make his Lehman Center debut, featuring his trademark bolero, merengue, and tropical music.
 
Lehman Center for the Performing Arts is on the campus of Lehman College/CUNY at 250 Bedford Park Boulevard West, Bronx, NY 10468. Tickets for MANNY MANUEL on Saturday, June 18th, 2022 at 8pm ($100, $65, $60, $55, $45) can be purchased by calling the Lehman Center box office at 718-960-8833 (Monday through Friday, 10am–5pm, and beginning at 4pm on the day of the concert), or through online access at https://www.lehmancenter.org/manny-manuel. Lehman Center is accessible by #4 or D train to Bedford Park Blvd. and is off the Saw Mill River Parkway and the Major Deegan Expressway.

MANNY MANUEL is a Puerto Rican singer from Orocovis, Puerto Rico.  Born Cruz Manuel Hernández Santiago in 1972, he began his music career as a member of Tempo Merenguero. He became famous as a member of the group Los Sabrosos del Merengue who released the hit single "Fiera Callada," before launching a successful solo career in 1994. He went on to release his first solo album titled Rey de Corazones, which was certified platinum after a few weeks. In 1999, Manny was nominated for a GRAMMY® Award for Best Merengue Performance for his album Lleno De Vida. His single "Se Me Sube" from his self-titled 2002 album placed in the Top 20, while the album landed in the top two on the Tropical Albums chart. In 2014, he released Serenata, Vol. 2, and hit the top of the Latin Pop Albums chart. The compilation Merengueando Los Clasicos released the same year, peaked at number three on the Tropical Albums chart and hit the top spot on various digital charts. His most recent album, Pegate de Mi Mambo, featuring collaborations with Tito "El Bambino" and Milly Quezada, was released in April of 2016. He released the single “El Efecto,” a collaboration with Ñejo, this year.
