New York cellist Qianci-Ci presents a cello music animation 'Lilies for Mom' to celebrate Mother's day.

New York cellist Liu Qianci-Ci, in collaboration with musicians and artists from Shanghai and Taiwan, presents a cello music animation "Lilies for Mom" to celebrate Mother's day.

Qianci Liu received a master degree in cello performance from Manhattan School of Music. She is the executive director of Paulus Hook Music Foundation, New York Big Apple Music Festival. she was the principal cellist at the Broadway Musical “The Lion King” in Shanghai. Also performed as the soloist for the Shanghai Bund Lights Show music “Walking in the Bund” and "The flowing magnificence". In 2017, she was honored to participate in the recording of “On and Between,” a Global Music Award album, composed by Mr. Zhen Chen. In collaboration with Chinese composer Wei Luo, Qianci released albums “Xian Qin,” “A cellist in the Shaoxing Road,” “ Waiting For Me” a CCTV top-rated TV program, and works of “Little Reunion,” “Pray for the world.” In 2022, Qianci composed a music animation “Lilies for Mom,” and “cello and jazz band: Candy.”

Wei Luo is a well known composer, pianist and producer, lives in Shanghai, China. In 2013, he began to create the "Piano Essay" series of music, which went on to acquire 400 million listeners across the world. In 2018, Wei Luo composed "Walk on the Bund" for the first Shanghai International Import Expo. This led to Shanghai Media and Broadcasting Group’s creation of the Shanghai city film "Shanghai, the Wonder of Never Night", which was selected by Xinhua News Agency as the third session of the Expo. He also serves as the music director of Shanghai Lights show "The flowing magnificence" in 2021. He is the musical director and composer for CCTV's News Channel's No. 1 program "Waiting for Me". In 2019, he performed "Waiting for Me" in collaboration with the United Nations Chorus at the Lefrak Concert Hall in New York. Other works including the theme music of MSI World Tournament "HERO", "The Wind", "Breaking Dawn" and "League of Legends". Wei Luo has collaborated with several brands in various formats such as Johnny Walker, Eastern Airlines, KLM, Nissan, China Mobile, SONY, Philips, Gillette, McDonald’s, KFC, Pepsi, Budweiser, Oreo...

 

Elisa Hung grew up in Taiwan and went to Porland, Oregon for college and graduated with a graphic design degree from Portland State University. She enjoys storytelling through illustration and animation, and gets inspired by the ocean, movies ,music, concept art and animation.
