Athlone Artists Welcomes Management Associate Ellen Hardcastle
NEW YORK, NY – October 7, 2021 – Today, Athlone Artists announces the addition of Ellen Hardcastle to its management team. Hardcastle, a former staffer at Columbia Artist Management before that agency folded in 2020 due to the pandemic, comes to Athlone with a wealth of experience in artist relations, social media management and as a musician herself.
At Columbia Artists, Hardcastle served as a Managerial Associate for Senior Vice President, Emily Yoon, and President and CEO, Tim Fox, assisting artists including Kathleen Battle and Fabio Luisi, and working on “live-to-picture” film licensing projects.
A pianist and composer originally from Nashville, Tennessee, Hardcastle completed her Bachelor of Music in Theory and Composition at New York University and continues to be based in New York City.
In the Spring of 2021, Hardcastle founded a social media management project, Rabbit Rabbit, that serves as a catalyst for independent artists looking to increase their fanbase through tailored social media strategy, consistent engagement with their communities, and innovative content. As a multi-instrumentalist and composer, Hardcastle continues to compose for percussion instruments and play in her Brooklyn-based rock band, No Capes.
“I believe that creativity and ingenuity should not stop when the artist exits the stage,” says Hardcastle. “I am so glad to be able to support the brilliant artistry of the Athlone roster and facilitate the endless creativity of the artists as they return to the opera house and concert hall this season.”
“I could not be more excited to welcome Ellen to the Athlone Artists team,” says Athlone President Miguel Rodriguez. As our roster has grown and artist calendars continue to fill as the pandemic wanes, I am delighted to have a colleague like Ellen, a real rock star in the industry as we spread the word about our brilliant artists.”
Ellen Hardcastle starts in her new role with Athlone Artists this week working directly with the singers, conductors and directors on the Athlone roster servicing contracts, preparing audition materials, and helping implement marketing strategies. She can be reached at ellen@athloneartists.com.

Athlone Artists gets its name from an Irish town located in the heart of Ireland that Rodriguez recently visited. “I learned that Athlone has been an important town since the Middle Ages,” says Rodriguez, “because of its location at one of the narrowest points of the River Shannon, Athlone and its historical bridge have been an important meeting point for commerce. This image translated perfectly into my vision for the agency as a convening center for, and a bridge between artists, presenters and patrons.”
