Trondheim International Chamber Music Competition (Norway) proudly announces the 2021 jury with Levon Chilingirian as Chairman. The other jury members are Leonard Disselhorst, Henninge Landaas, Nina Lee, Geir Inge Lotsberg, Kazuki Sawa and Marianna Shirinyan. Click here for bios.

The 11th Trondheim International Chamber Music Competition will be held 21-25 Sep 2021 and is open for string quartets. In 2017 the Maxwell Quartet won both 1st prize and the Audience Prize in our String Quartet Competition. In 2019 the competition for Piano Trio was won by Mithras Trio. The Competition is held as a part of the Trondheim Chamber Music Festival. Our participating quartets as well as our merited jury of chamber musicians will perform at festival concerts during the week.

We worked hard in 2020 to be able to conduct TICC Academy within a safe framework - both for participating ensembles, instructors, audience and staff. For photos from the TICC Academy 2020, click here. As of today, we hope for a normal implementation of the competition planned in 2021, and we are prepared for changes and adjustments. Application deadline 20 April 2021, participating quartets will be announced early June 2021. Please have a look at our website, www.ticc.no, for more information and news.
