New instrument 'TeRra' invented by Terra Han

Music arrangement, dance correography and performed by Terra Han

“The Swan” is the number two track in the album “TeRra’s Music Diary.” It came about when Terra performed in the Carnival of the animals composed by the fremch composer, Camille Saint-saens (1886). The carnival consists of a humorous musical suite of fourteen movements. And On the 13th of the movement called “The Swan”, she performed with her new invented instrument named “TeRra.”

On that day her performance was so astonishing. Especially with her musical instrument which filled the air with pleasant sounds. She showcased her amazing talent so hard that it was nominated the best arrangement album, best music video. The performance is presently included in her Album as a track and she also called it “The Swan.

This particular achievement did once again prove that Terra Han is a multi-talented artist. The song is utterly an ORTHOGONAL West and East profound musical belief. Her performance showcased wondrous artwork of diverse forms. Including the Korean ethic dance with patterns and fashion. The instrumental was deep Western classical music, played with the extraordinary new invented instrument of hers called Terra.

Terra’s performance at the carnival unbarred many gates of opportunities. Because she stayed in France till 2012, showcasing her diverse Korean heritage. In Paris, she participated with other notable artists like visual artist Benjamin Efrati and electric musician Richard Pinhas, and researched contemporary music at Beaux-Arts architecture and IRCAM (Institut de Recherche et Coordination Acoustique/Musique) Also during the 130-years celebration of the diplomatic relations with France and Korea in 2016. She went on and delivered a presentation called the Revelation Series at the Sejong Center. The Sejong Center represents the arts in Seoul and is heavily backed by the Institut Français.

She re-performed her music “The Swan” at TeRra. And a France Korean version of the song “The Swan” was born. She collaborated with Erwan Richard to see this through. Terran Hen is truly bringing to life the genius Baudelaire, the Korean court music of the 11th century. This time blended with the West and East style, consisting of French and modern classical music.

Terra Hen is indeed a true musical wonder. With her exceedingly thriving talent and skills, she keeps proving to everyone that she remains the genuine icon of her cultural tradition.
