Jeffrey Biegel plays Phyllis Diller, Leschetizky, Haydn and More
Phyllis Diller? The classical pianist-turned-comedienne sent pianist Jeffrey Biegel an autographed copy of a short Baroque-inspired piece she composed in 1937 titled, "Phylis' Fugue". She performed it on 'The Liberace Show' when she was a guest on the flamboyant pianist's television show and it is immortalized there. Mr. Biegel will perform Phyllis Diller's novelty piece in the key of F minor before Franz Josef Haydn's set of variations in the same tonality followed by a set of various works by Romantic period composers. This concert marks Mr. Biegel's 'at home' concert #14 on June 13, 2020, 5:00PM ET.
