Jeffrey Biegel created the first classical video live stream recitals in 1997, in New York's Steinway Hall and in Amsterdam. In 2000, one of the largest consortiums of orchestras had its premiere with Ellen Taaffe Zwilich's 'Millennium Fantasy' taking the new work to 27 orchestras throughout the US. Mr. Biegel brought new American works to Canada and Europe in co-commissioning projects, and tapped into pop music composers to write new works for piano and orchestra for him, including Jimmy Webb, and bringing concertos to the public in performances and recording by Neil Sedaka and Keith Emerson. His eye is currently on a large commissioning project for 2024, already in the planning stages since prior to the Covid-19 pandemic. With fervent prayer, he hopes this can happen. His most recent recordings include the Grammy winning recording, 'Kenneth Fuchs: Spiritualist', featuring Mr. Fuchs's piano concerto, 'Spiritualist' with three additional works on the recording with the London Symphony Orchestra and JoAnn Falletta conducting (Naxos label), and two solo digital recordings, 'A Pianist's Journey' which features more then three hours of solo piano repertoire, and, the 'live' unedited recordings from the 1997 online concerts at Steinway Hall, 'cyberecital: An Historic Recording'.
