Did you know that Ullapool based Composer James Douglas' music was featured in SKY TV's documentary 'Britain's Longest Reigning Monarch.?' No....well, neither did he!
James Douglas (Composer: internationally renowned and globally performed), discovered this information very recently having received a royalty Statement and he was thrilled and honoured to find that his music was used in such a prestigious programme. His music over the years has also been used as a soundtrack in Heartbeat (ITV), Michael Palin: Sahara (BBC), on Harry Fox Network (USA), and as part of a Remembrance Day Service in Northern Ireland last year.
Various friends, colleagues and acquaintances still ask if he is still Composing....the answer is yes! He recently has been dedicating more time to preparing new scores for publication by Eschenbach Editions as well as building and recording a sound / music library for use in TV, film and background music.
