Chamber Players International October 18 Concert at Kosciuszko Foundation

Chamber Players International will present the first of their 2009-2010 New York City concerts on Sunday, October 18 – 3 pm at The Kosciuszko Foundation, 15 East 65th Street (between Madison and Fifth Ave) in Manhattan.

This program will include Chopin’s Polonaise for cello and piano, Nocturne and Piano Trio, along with Arensky’s Trio and Schumann’s Sonata for Violin and Piano in a minor.

Chamber Players International performers will be Grigory Kalinovsky, violin, Sophie Shao, cello and pianist Tatiana Goncharova.

Grigory Kalinovsky has performed at some of the world’s most prestigious venues, from all three stages of Carnegie Hall to Musikhalle Grosser Saal in Hamburg. He has recently performed with the Nashville Symphony, Klassik Philharmonie Hamburg (Germany), KwaZulu-Natal Philharmonic (South Africa), the Kwang-Ju Symphony (S. Cellist Sophie Shao is rapidly gaining international acclaim for her brilliant, mature interpretations of repertoire ranging from Bach and Beethoven to Crumb and Wilson. Russian-born pianist Tatiana Goncharova has performed throughout the U.S., South America, Europe and Asia.
