Announcing Louis Langrée at Prague Summer Nights 2026
ANNOUNCING LOUIS LANGRÉE AT PRAGUE SUMMER NIGHTS 2026

Alexandria, Virginia, USA — February 11, 2026 — Prague Summer Nights is pleased to announce that renowned French conductor Louis Langrée will be in residency during PSN 2026 as a Distinguished Guest Conductor for one-week in Tábor, from June 20–27. During this time he will conduct the PSN Orchestra in rehearsals and a symphonic performance, work with assistant conductors, giving a masterclass and insights on different topics, and attend opera staging rehearsals to listen to the singers.
About Louis Langrée
A specialist of the highest distinction in the three worlds of opera, orchestra, and Mozart, Maestro Langrée is one of today’s most respected and sought-after conductors on the world’s leading stages. Maestro Langrée currently serves as Director of the Théâtre National de l’Opéra-Comique in Paris, appointed by the President of France, and has led major institutions - including the Mostly Mozart Festival at Lincoln Center - for over two decades, and the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra as Music Director for more than a decade. Langrée’s career spans the world’s great opera houses and orchestras, from the Metropolitan Opera and Vienna Staatsoper to La Scala, Royal Opera House, Berlin Philharmonic, and Vienna Philharmonic, and he has conducted more than 250 performances at Lincoln Center alone.
