Juilliard's Annual ChamberFest Celebrates 25 Years

JUILLIARD’S ANNUAL CHAMBERFEST 

CELEBRATES 25 YEARS

Five Days of Chamber Music Featuring Juilliard Students and Faculty 

January 12–16, 2026 

 

Master Classes With Emanuel Ax, Jaime Laredo, and Sharon Robinson, January 8–11, 2026 

 

ABOUT: 

Juilliard’s ChamberFest, the much-loved annual chamber music festival, returns for its milestone 25th year. Over the course of five days, trios, quartets, quintets, a sextet, and an octet will perform works spanning the breadth of the chamber music repertoire from Beethoven, Brahms, and Mozart to Bartók, Britten, and Shostakovich, and 21st-century works by Pierre Jalbert and Andrew Norman. 

 

Audiences will experience performances by both student ensembles and student-faculty ensembles featuring renowned Juilliard faculty members Stella Chen, Nina Lee, and Mark Steinberg as well as guest artists Jaime Laredo and Sharon Robinson. These artists also serve as ensemble coaches, alongside faculty members Darrett Adkins, Audrey Axinn, Ronald Copes, Alan Kay, Jerome Lowenthal, Paul Neubauer, Merry Peckham, Fred Sherry, William Short, Curtis Stewart, Carol Wincenc, and Yi-heng Yang. 

 

Additionally, Emanuel Ax (Edwin D. and Nancy A. Marks Chair of Chamber Music), Jaime Laredo, and Sharon Robinson will lead chamber music master classes with Juilliard students that will be open to the public. 

 

All ChamberFest concerts, apart from the Wednesdays at One performance, will be livestreamed at juilliard.edu.
