KC Defector Finds New Venues

Vocal Arts DC has made good on its promise to reschedule the three programs it pulled out of the Kennedy Center earlier this week, citing the low attendance and donor issues many companies have had since the DT takeover.  Like the Washington National Opera’s, VADC’s rescheduling announcement expresses deep gratitude for the “community’s outpouring of support during this transition.”

Here is the new schedule for VADC’s 35th-anniversary season, new tickets for which are being printed (see below for info).

• Quinn Kelsey and Craig Ketter

  Sunday, May 10, 2026, at 5:00 PM
  Live! at 10th and G BR 945 G St NW, Washington, DC 20001

Tickets purchased through VADC will automatically be transferred to the new venues. Those purchased through KenCen will have to be repurchased from VADC.
