Amplify - A Documentary On The History Of Amplified Music - Released on DVD

June 17, 2019 | By D. Buckle
Director

Amplify, An intimate documentary on the history of amplified music released 5/28/2019
The progression in technology leading to today's smartphone's or portable music players would be unimaginable to people listening to a phonograph record or family piano 100 years ago. Amplifiers entered popular music with the birth of rock 'n' roll, through artists like Muddy Waters, Bessie Smith, Chuck Berry, Bill Haley and many others, and quickly music started to become louder. This is the story of amplified music, from it's very beginning, to it's early innovations, to it's golden age, all the way to today's futuristic technology and beyond. This historical and entertainingly put together chronicle of music history is delivered to you in a stunning new documentary by Independent Filmmaker Dwayne Buckle and is presented in full color High Definition video by NYC based production company Vision Laboratories, who, through many years of research in electronic developments, electronic music history and also by sure luck, was able to put together this wonderful achievement of sight and sound. A great work of historical knowledge, that is delivered to the people in a way that they can all feel and enjoy.

Amplify, is available on DVD & VOD May 28, 2019. This independent film will only be available for purchase at various nationwide retailers and online.
