FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS
The 19th biennial Boston Early Music Festival features the fully staged North American premiere of André Campra’s 1699 opéra-ballet, Le Carnaval de Venise. Other highlights include a double bill of chamber operas by Pergolesi; Handel’s La Resurrezione with the BEMF Orchestra; 18 concerts featuring The King’s Singers, fortepianist Kristian Bezuidenhout, violinist Rachel Podger, Concerto Palatino, and many others; the world-famous exhibition, master classes, symposia, family day, dozens of “Fringe Concerts,” and so much more.
