![]() ABOUT THIS COMPETITION
The mission of the MIMC is to discover and support young singers, violinists and pianists who demonstrate exceptional mastery of their art. Since its first edition dedicated to voice in 2002, more than 2,300 hopefuls have entered the competition and nearly 400 have performed in Montreal.

ELIGIBILITY
The three disciplines of the Competition, voice, violin and piano, are featured on a rotating basis over a three-year cycle.
Voice: Age limit: 33 years old on 1 January 2015
Violin: Age limit: 29 years old on 1 January 2016
Piano: Age limit: 30 years old on 1 January 2017
