SEMIFINALS (live rounds)
Helsinki Music Centre, Helsinki, Finland
Preliminary Round (live rounds): May 20-23, 2019. Competitors perform a 15-20-minute (maximum) recital including:
- An aria from a passion, oratorio, mass or cantata from the 17th or 18th centuries.
- Two solo songs of which at least one must be a Lied.
- An opera or concert aria.
Semifinals (live rounds): May 24-25, 2019. 16-20 competitors perform a 30-minute (maximum) recital including:
- A song by a Finnish composer.
- A group of solo songs (lasting 15-20 minutes).
- An opera or concert aria. |

FINALS (live rounds)
May 29, 2019: Eight competitors perform two works with orchestral accompaniment, of which at least one must be an opera, oratorio, cantata, or concert aria (maximum 20 minutes). Finalists accompanied by the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra, Hannu Lintu, conductor. Helsinki Music Center, Helsinki, Finland |
