The Prelude CD embodies what it means to sing as a True Coloratura Soprano. Ms Aguinaga astounds listeners with operatic feats only the top opera voices in the world dare attempt. The fame and spender of these cherished coloratura classics are once again revived right out of history and performed with the passion and artistic emotion that only Idara Aguinaga can deliver and the original composers could only of first hoped for.

"Aguinaga's gorgeous sound, virtuosity, and impeccable musical taste captivates audiences everywhere. Her performances are not just ordinary classical concerts highlighted by a single showpiece, but rather an entire walk through classical history of the greatest music ever composed. Its not too far off to say... If the famous masters who wrote these works were alive today, many would be attentively seated in the front row at her next performance."

?"Idara's spell-binding voice seems to have been ideally created for the Bel Canto style. Her exceptional vocal attributes are characterized by a flawless evenness of tone, extreme agility, superb quality, and a warm, pleasing timbre. With perfect delivery of pitch and tonal quality, rich, passionate resonance and vibrato, her performances are nothing short of soul moving for anyone having the pleasure of experiencing her gift as a Dramatic Bel Canto Coloratura Soprano." "an accomplished violinist and gifted coloratura soprano....Her vocal range is stunning... " The Daily InterLake

Ms Idara Aguinaga discovered her gift for music at a very young age. Violin, music teaching, and solo performing were all part of her early life. As with all true musically blessed individuals, every form of music expression was of great interest to her. And in 2013, with her voice now fully matured, she diligently began exploring the art of singing as an operatic soprano.

After years of intense self-training and with great personal discipline, it became indisputably obvious... she possessed the gift of a true coloratura soprano. Coupled with rare operatic power, phenomenal endurance and an impressive tessitura, Ms Aguinaga brilliantly exudes with mature sensitivity and emotion the sincere passion required for the masterpieces she now sings and loves. She literally lives out every song (with her voice in character and being) in all her performances.

Technique & Repertoire: Precise diction in any language and true musicality radiates in her every performance. Yet, her voice is deep, rich and full... and amazingly enters the higher register with ease and agility. Leaps, runs, jumps and trills all seem effortless. Her exceptional abilities are openly demonstrated by performing some of the most difficult and moving arias in the coloratura world. She has enthusiastically built a full repertoire of over 40 classic arias in her first 6 months of singing. Including: Queen of the Night Aria, Fruhlingsstimmen, The Bell Song, Ah Non Giunge, and The Mad Scene from Lucia Di Lammermoor to name only a few. Just as impressive is her sensitivity in dramatic arias such as Pace, Pace Mio Dio, Oh Quante Volte, Con Onor Muore, Vissi d'Arte and many more. Her repertoire of Sacred songs includes such rare gems as Rejoice Greatly O Daughter of Zion, The Holy City, and Let The Bright Seraphim. There seems to be no limit to her ability to master even the most difficult vocal challenges.

Languages: Being completely self-taught as a coloratura soprano with no formal voice training, she has enjoyed the artistic freedom that comes from naturally discovering her God given talent and artistically sharing it with all who desire to hear the most beautiful classic arias the world has ever known. Presently she sings in 11 languages. Including: English, Spanish, Latin, French, Italian, German, Czech, Russian, Chinese and even Hebrew.

Mission: Ms Aguinaga continues to seek out new performing opportunities world-wide and is very passionate about not only singing as a coloratura soprano, but continuing her life long goal of helping revive the cultural interest in all classical music globally.
