Vladimir Nielsen Piano Festival Presents Final 2010 Young Virtuosos Concert

The Vladimir Nielsen Piano Festival, Victoria Mushkatkol, Founder and Artistic Director, will present the fourth and final 2010 young virtuosos concert on Saturday, August 21 – 5:00 PM at the Festival’s 64 Laurel Trail venue in Sag Harbor, New York.

The August 21 concert will again feature performances of works by Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt, and Rachmaninoff among others. This program and others in the series are the public presentation of the festival’s aspiring and highly talented, international piano students and the intense music studies they undertake in the Festival’s friendly, nurturing, family environment.

Performers for this concert will include Pablo Esquivel Noel, (b. 1999, Costa Rica), David Aladashvili, (b. 1990, Tbilisi, Georgia), John Bowler, (b. 1993, New York), Stanley Chernavsky, (b. 1996, New Jersey), Vinnicius Dias, (b. 1990, Rio de Janeiro), Jonathan Duarte, Canadian/Costa Rican, (b. 1993), Adi Neigauz (b. 1996, Tel-Aviv), Josue Gonzales, (b. 1994, Costa Rica), Hyung-Do Kim, (b. 1996), Matthew Maimone, (b. 1994, Long Island), Xin Tong and Ke-Ru Zhang, (b. China) and Qi Zhang, (b. 1992, Shanghai).

Nielsen Festival Founder and Artistic Director Victoria Mushkatkol, member of the faculty of The Juilliard School Pre-College Division, is a versatile international performer, appearing in recitals and chamber music concerts throughout the United States, Europe and Asia. Equally at home performing for the Royal Family of Thailand in Bangkok or in China, her travels have taken her to Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand and Brunei as well as to Spain, Czech Republic, Yugoslavia and Netherlands.
