Chambers Players International Presents Vivaldi Fest

Chamber Players International will present Vivaldi Fest on Sunday, July 11 – 2:30 PM at Planting Fields Arboretum State Historic Park, 1395 Planting Fields Road in Oyster Bay, New York.

The concert will be a program of Vivaldi concertos in the Arboretum’s newly renovated Italian garden, and will feature the complete “Four Seasons”. Performers will be internationally renowned violinist and member of the New York Philharmonic Anna Rabinova, supported by The Voxare String Quartet.

The July 11 concert is free and open to the public. There is an $8 per car Arboretum parking charge. Anna Rabinova was the winner of the Bach International Competition in Leipzig, Germany, and was awarded first prize at the 16th International Competition in Belgrade. As winner of the 1993 Concerto Competition at The Juilliard School, she performed Shostakovich’s Concerto No. 1, with Stanislav Skrowaczewski conducting. New York City based Voxare String Quartet formed in 2007 and has since received critical praise for its inventive programming, technical prowess, attention to detail, and passionate performances. Praised as being one of the most brilliant and versatile quartets of its generation, “the Voxare Quartet is half Russian, half Chicagoan, 100 percent Juilliardian and 400 percent young, enthusiastic, blessed with individual great instrumental skills” (Concertonet).
