Tickets on Sale June 1 for 2010–2011 Presentations at Eisenhower and Schwab

UNIVERSITY PARK (Thursday, May 27)—Individual-performance and discounted Choice series tickets for 29 professional touring presentations at Eisenhower and Schwab auditoriums and Pasquerilla Spiritual Center go on sale to the public at 8 a.m. Monday, June 1.

The September 2010 through April 2011 Center for the Performing Arts at Penn State season features a variety of music, theater and dance presentations, including classical violin superstar Joshua Bell in a solo recital and the Centre County debuts of the touring Broadway musicals Monty Python’s Spamalot, The Color Purple and Spring Awakening. The musical theater line-up also includes the classics A Chorus Line and Fiddler on the Roof. The upcoming season at the University Park campus also includes jazz piano legends Dave Brubeck and Ramsey Lewis, the iconic Merce Cunningham Dance Company’s final tour, Celtic fiddler Natalie MacMaster’s Christmas in Cape Breton, Montreal’s Cirque Eloize in ID, the Moscow Symphony Orchestra with violin soloist Jennifer Koh and Argentina’s Tango Buenos Aires in Fire and Passion of Tango.
