Pianist Marianela Santurio Presents Cuban Heritage Concert

Cuban-American pianist Marianela Santurio will present a Cuban Heritage concert on Saturday, May 15 – 3:00 p.m. at Amityville Public Library, corner of Oak and John Streets in Amityville, New York. She will be joined by percussionist Miguel Santurio.
Ms. Santurio will present a program emphasizing her Cuban roots, with a wide ranging mix of sounds, including works by legendary Cuban composers Ernesto Lecuona and the contemporary master Paquito D’Rivera. Along with her brother, drummer and percussionist Miguel, she will present myriad styles and rhythms, from Danzones to authentic African Cuban Rhythms.

Marianela Santurio’s diverse and elegant artistry has earned her international acclaim.
