The International Street Cannibals Present Iambic Mishegas

The International Street Cannibals and guest artists will present Iambic Mishegas, a concert on Monday, April 19 – 8:00 PM at The Players Theatre, 115 MacDougal Street in Manhattan.
The concert will feature excerpts from Gene Pritsker's chamber opera William James Varieties of Religious Experience, Josephs Pehrson's Nature of the Universe for flute, narrator and dancer, Arthur Kampela's micro-opera, Elevator Man, electronic incidental music to Shakespearean scenes by Dan Cooper, as well as structured and free improvisations over sonnets by Wyatt, Shakespeare and Spenser, with a Finale utilizing Elizabethan verse and harmonically updated Klezmer.
Performers will include Greg Baker, guitar, Dan Barrett, narrator/cello, Charles Coleman, baritone/narrator, Larry Goldman, bass, Jose Moura, bass, Stephanie Griffin, viola, Arthur Kampela, guitar, Margaret Lancaster, flute, Joseph Pehrson, narrator, Gene Pritsker, guitar, Lynn Bechtold, violin, Thomas Carlo Bo, conductor and choreography and dance by Linda Pehrson, Amanda Mottur and Megan Sipe.
