Chamber Players International April 11 Musical Cuisine Concert

Chamber Players International’s Musical Cuisine series will present the fourth concert and brunch of its 2009-2010 season, celebrating Mozart’s concerto masterworks for violin, on Sunday, April 11 at 12 noon at the DeSeversky Conference Center on the campus of New York Institute of Technology, Northern Boulevard in Old Westbury, New York.
This program will feature Mozart Violin Concertos No. 3 and No. 5 (Turkish). Chamber Players International soloist will be New York Philharmonic violinist Anna Rabinova, accompanied by a chamber ensemble.
The program begins with a champagne brunch buffet at 12 noon followed by the concert at 1:30 PM. Admission is $60 per person with group rates available. For reservations (required) and information, contact Chamber Players International toll-free at 877-444-4488.
Anna Rabinova was the winner of the Bach International Competition in Leipzig, Germany, and was awarded first prize at the 16th International Competition in Belgrade. As winner of the 1993 Concerto Competition at The Juilliard School, she performed Shostakovich’s Concerto No. 1, with Stanislav Skrowaczewski conducting.
