Chamber Music of Charles Griffin to Be Premiered in Vasteras, Sweden

American composer Charles Griffin’s This is just to say for narrator, vocalist, flute, cello and bass will be given its World Premiere on Sunday, January 17 - 5:00 PM at Vasteras Concert Hall in Vasteras, Sweden. 18 composers and musicians from 5 countries will come together for this performance.
The composer has written about the new work, “My contribution will be This is just to say, a comic, structured improvisation, with texts taken from William Carlos Williams’ poem of the same name and a handful of parodies of it by other authors. Charles Griffin is an American composer currently living in Latvia.
