'A Sacred Journey' Tour with Terry Barber

December 22, 2009 | By Joseph Cruz
Terry Barber Management
After raising thousands of dollars for charities, Barber founded Artists For A Cause whose mission is to facilitate the collaboration of artists in support of charity causes. Barber has decided to support people in their faith by launching the tour, "A Sacred Journey", which is designed as an easy, no-risk way for houses of worship to raise funds while enlightening their congregation with an informative and inspiring performance.

Previously, Terry dedicated the solo album "Songs She Loved" (which is available on Itunes, and CDbaby.com) to his mother, Michele Russo Jillson, who died in December 2006. Still seeking ways to honor his mother, Terry gave all of the proceeds from this album to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, prompting his nomination for their “Man Of The Year” award in 2008.

As a soloist, Terry Barber has been hired by many of the world’s most prestigious organizations including the Metropolitan Opera, Carnegie Hall, and London’s Queen Elizabeth Hall. His released work includes collaborations with Grammy-winners Karl Jenkins, Steve Smith, and Chanticleer and recordings for Sony Classical, Warner Teldec, EMI, Columbia Records and his own record label, rEvolv Music. In 2010 Terry Barber will appear in a biblical film musical, and his angelic singing will also be heard on the interactive bible for the Iphone, "The Life Of Jesus". You can learn more about the artist and download the "A Sacred Journey" brochure at his site, www.Terry-Barber.com
