2017 GUIDE TO FESTIVALS

FESTIVALS

2017 Festivals Festivals 2017
The Musical America Guide
The 2017 Guide is our fourth annual Festivals guide and the largest to date. We provide in-depth information about these summer musical oases: locations, ticket prices, dates, disciplines, artistic directors, and—for our managers and artists—booking cycles and contacts.
Our feature story, Training Opera's Next Generation: A Tale of Two Festivals, takes an inside look at the programs part of France's Aix-en-Provence Festivals and New York's Glimmerglass Festivals. Very popular with young artists, the differences between the two are vast but their goals are the same: to train the next generation and nourish the artform.
