SCHOLARSHIPS AND GRANTS: SUMMER CAMPS

This scholarship program was established to provide young music students with an opportunity to attend a summer music camp which they would otherwise not be able to afford. One student, age 10-16, is offered a scholarship to the Perry-Mansfield Performing Arts School and Camp in Colorado. Students must demonstrate both musical promise and financial need. To be considered, students must submit an application to the Perry-Mansfield School in Steamboat Springs, CO: 1-800-430-ARTS or p-m@cmn.ne.
The NFMC offers awards for summer study at a number of camps, including but not limited to: The Aspen School and Festival, Brevard Music Center, Chautauqua Music School, Interlochen Arts Camp, Music Academy of the West, Opera in the Ozarks, the Ravinia Festival, Santa Fe Opera, and Sewanee Summer Music Festival. Awards range from $175-$3000. Age limits range from 10-30.
Summer Music Scholarships will assist members who will attend recognized summer programs of music study in the United States or abroad. Scholarships will be applied directly to recipient's tuition for program/school in US dollars. Ten scholarships will be awarded, up to $1,000 each.
