Time for Three Tops the Classical Grammys

Many Grammys are awarded just prior to the televised ones; classical music's among them. Below is the complete list, with a few strange ones, including the awarding of “Best Classical Instrumental Solo” to Time for Three, a trio; “Best Orchestral Performance” to a Youth Orchestra’s recording of works by three black women composers. Yannick Nézet-Séguin can claim two: one conducting the Metropolitan Opera production of Fire Shut Up My Bones, one as a collaborative pianist with Renée Fleming on Voice of Nature; the Philadelphia Orchestra lays claim to two, both conducted by Xian Zhang.
