Light Opera of NJ Announces Principal Casting for February La Bohème

Light Opera of New Jersey (Basking Ridge, NJ) is proud to announce the principal casting for its February 2022 performances of Puccini’s masterpiece La Bohème. Performances will be held at the Fellowship Village Cultural Arts Center - Feb. 11, 13, 18, and 20 (8000 Fellowship Rd Basking Ridge, NJ) and the South Orange Performing Arts Center - March 27 (1 SOPAC Way South Orange, NJ).  Andrea DelGiudice will direct a modern-day adaptation set in New York City.  Noted conductor, Jason C. Tramm will lead the Light Opera of New Jersey Chamber Orchestra.

The principal cast will feature; Molly Dunn, Mimì (Weiner Kammeropera), Jeremy Brauner, Rodolfo (Cedar Rapids Opera), Gina Hanzlik, Musetta (Michigan Opera Theater), Jason Detwiler, Marcello (San Diego Opera) Suchan Kim, Schaunard (New York City Opera) and Gennady Vysotsky, Colline (Regina Opera).  According to LONJ Executive Director, “I am delighted to collaborate with these talented professional artists as we bring Puccini’s great masterpiece to life in a fresh modern adaptation by our talented director, Andrea DelGiudice.  We are thrilled to take the stage for our first production since the pandemic and can’t wait to bring professional opera/operetta and Musical Theater to audiences in Basking Ridge and beyond! ”
