Enrique Graf in Two Diverse Performances in October
Pianist Enrique Graf will be soloist in W.A. Mozart's Concerto No. 13, K. 415 with the Chamber Orchestra of the Triangle conducted by Lorenzo Muti on Sunday, October 4 at 3 PM. The concert, titled "Letters from Wolfgang" includes the Wind Serenade and will also features actors from Playmakers Repertory Company. It will take place at the Carolina Theatre in Durham, North Carolina for a limited audience and will be streamed a week later.
Enrique Graf, a native of Uruguay and an American citizen has been called "A master, elegant, a musician first and, only after that, an assured and technically complete pianist” by The Washington Post and The New York Times said that "he plays with fiery virtuosity" and "extroverted, impulsive and altogether joyous, marked by an irresistible sense of flow.” More information here: https://www.chamberorchestraofthetriangle.org/20-21season
On October 25 he will play as part of the Sonus International Music Festival celebrating the life of Carlos Guastavino in the 20th Anniversary of his death.
