9/22 @ 9-10 PM WQXR Presents Spanish Pianist Juan Perez Floristan on Young Artists Showcase

On Wednesday evening, September 22 at 9:00 PM, New York’s classical music station WQXR.ORG will present an hour long program devoted entirely to Spanish pianist Juan Perez Floristan, First Prize Gold Medal Winner of this year's Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Competition. (WQXR is at 105.9 on the FM dial in the New York City metropolitan area and at 90.3 FM in Westchester, NY.) Hosted by Robert Sherman, "The Young Artists Showcase" will stream live, and then stay archived at wqxr.org. The program will also be repeated Saturday 9/25 at 11 pm. Young Artists Showcase is a WQXR weekly radio show that since 1978 has sought out and displayed the talents of young emerging artists. WQXR’s Young Artists Showcase is supported by The Harold W.
