Star Studded List of Artists Worked with Include

Michael Bublé,  Herbie Hancock, David Foster and Meghan Trainor

“Over the last 20 years, I’ve watched my friend Jason Goldman blossom into becoming one of the foremost producers and arrangers in the world. His latest offering is a testament to his passion, experience and a love of music that spans generations. I have no doubt you’ll enjoyit as much as I did.” -- Michael Bublé

(Los Angeles, CA) Jason Goldman (aka “Spicy G”) is a multi-platinum selling music producer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, composer, arranger and educator, whose EP Hypnotized is set for release August 28, 2020.

Best known for his production and arranging collaboration with Michael Bublé, his work is featured on five of Bublé's GRAMMY nominated, Juno winning multi-platinum albums.  His numerous credits include writing and arranging for such music industry heavy weights as David Foster, Herbie Hancock and Meghan Trainor and as a musician performing with Queen Latifah, Chris Isaak, Michael Feinstein, Terence Blanchard and Wayne Shorter, among many others.

On Hypnotized, Jason is introducing three star vocalists of tomorrow: Erin Bentlage, Addie Hamilton and Olivia Morreale.  As producer and arranger (and composer of the title track), his fresh new renditions of the classics Witchcraft, Sit Right Down and Write Myself a Letter, Pennies from Heaven and Orange Colored Sky promise to bring new life to these beloved great American classics.

“This recording contains everything I do on a daily basis, in music, in one project,” states Jason.  “I’ve taken all the elements of big band, strings, vocals, layered vocals and mixed them with some of the pop production techniques I use for my other projects that are not rooted in jazz.”  He further adds, “It was important to choose vocalists that could sing this music like nobody else.  In my opinion, these three amazingly talented artists are on a path to stardom and I’m pleased to introduce them to a worldwide audience.”

Erin Bentlage

Hailing from the green mountains of Vermont, Erin Bentlage writes, sings, and plays music in search of organic sound. Raised in a small town near the city of Burlington, she developed her love for emotional musical expression through ballet and classical piano lessons, and later found her space in the contemporary realm through jazz and improvisation both as a performer and an arranger/composer. Erin writes for the voice in all contexts, and can be heard lending her sound on a wide variety of projects, from major motion picture film scores to singing (and often writing!) background vocals for artists such as Moonchild, Sara Gazarek, Pomplamoose, and more. As an artist, Erin has been featured on a growing number of projects and will see her first record release in 2020. You will also find her writing and performing with her new vocal group, säje, alongside Sara Gazarek, Amanda Taylor, and Johnaye Kendrick.

Addie Hamilton

Addie Hamilton is a nineteen-year-old Emmy-nominated singer/songwriter from Orange, California. At 14 years old, Addie stumbled across her great grandmother's record player and fell in love with the timeless sounds of Peggy Lee, Benny Goodman, and Eartha Kitt. Her infatuation with 1930-60's jazz, swing, and R&B started as the staples of inspiration for her own sound. By the age of 15 she found herself in studio songwriting. In return, her second song recorded saw television placement on CBS Network’s “The Young and the Restless”.  Seventeen brought her release of two cover videos on Youtube. The first was a jazz rendition of Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines”. It grew to over 1.2 million views, with her take on Peggy Lee’s “Fever” following close behind.

Olivia Morreale

Olivia is a LA-based singer, producer and multi-instrumentalist. Lover of glitter, jazz, wine night, rock & roll, anything vintage. Sometimes known as Princess Liv. Following the release of her debut EP "Daytime Moon" in 2018, Olivia toured nationally with her project as well as with other groups - now she's gearing up for the release of her next few singles in the summer of 2020, along with a music video for her newest single "Wasting Daylight." She has also written for Playboy Magazine and Westwood in their music and culture sections.

Working with the heavy weights and introducing new talent is what mega producers do.  And Jason is just that!  He is also Associate Professor of Practice and Chair of the Jazz Studies Department at the University of Southern California and the Artistic Director and founder of the nonprofit Young Musicians Project.

So watch out world—prepare to be Hypnotized —August 28, 2020!
