Christian Davis’s 'Behind You' Original Score to be Released

April 7, 2020 | By Jordan von Netzer, Impact24 PR

Christian Davis’s score to the upcoming horror film, Behind You is getting a digital release on April 21, 2020. The album consists of 17 original tracks. The film, directed by Andrew Mecham and Matthew Whedon, is getting distributed by Vertical Entertainment on VOD April 17, 2020. The film stars Addy Miller (The Walking Dead), Elizabeth Birkner (The Outpost), Philip Brodie (The Outpost), and Jan Broberg (I’m Sorry). Davis’s other credits include Dwight and Shining Armor, The Other Side of Heaven 2: Fire of Faith and Christmas Eve to name a few. The score will be available on all major digital sites including iTunes, Spotify, Amazon and Apple Music.

When discussing his work on the film Davis says, “Behind You was a really fun film to score. Not only did I use traditional instruments, but I also incorporated sounds from hissing tea kettles, revving chainsaw engines and even bending wood. All of these elements make for a really unique score that I hope everyone enjoys. Just remember, stay away from creepy Aunts and their creepy houses!!”

Behind You follows two young sisters, sent to live with their estranged Aunt, find that all the mirrors in her house are covered or hidden. When one of the sisters happens upon a mirror in the basement, she unknowingly releases a malicious demon that had haunted her mother and aunt years ago.
