Cellist Zuill Bailey Performs New Works in UK Premiere

While on his European tour, Zuill Bailey will perform as part of a sextet in the UK Premiere of "Chopin's Waterloo," a new work by Academy Award nominated composer Ben Wallfisch, who has collaborated on music for such films as "Atonement," "Jane Eyre," and "The Brother's Grimm." The Premiere is set for November 24 as part of the Wimbledon Chamber Music Festival. Bailey has partnered with the Festival to insure the exposure of the new composition around the world.Zuill Bailey believes in the investment and championing of new music. He works with contemporary composers to create and introduce commission projects and premieres for his concert appearances, festivals and recordings. The new work will be performed again in El Paso, Texas as part of the El Paso Pro-Musica Chamber Music Festival in January, 2013. Bailey is the Artistic Director of the Festival.
