Palm Beach Symphony Celebrates Newly Reimagined Prelude Society and The Start of The Season

December 1, 2025 | By Palm Beach Symphony

West Palm Beach, Fla. (December 1, 2025) – Palm Beach Symphony welcomed members, supporters and invited guests to La Goulue in Palm Beach for a “Season Toast,” an elegant gathering celebrating the Symphony’s reimagined Prelude Society.

The evening offered a warm and gracious setting to introduce Prelude Society’s next chapter, foster connection and highlight the Symphony’s commitment to meaningful engagement through music and philanthropy. This reimagining offers a clear path for supporters to grow with the Symphony in a way that feels welcoming and true to Palm Beach’s philanthropic spirit.

“Prelude Society represents a meaningful relationship with the Symphony. For some, it may be a natural progression after Young Friends, and for others, it may be the very start of their Symphony journey,” said Kewan Smith, Palm Beach Symphony’s Director of Development. “Either way, Prelude Society is designed to meet you where you are and invite you a little closer to the music, the mission and the experiences that make this orchestra so special. And, as we like to say, every symphony begins with a prelude.”

As part of this next chapter, the Symphony announced the formation of a Prelude Society Committee, offering engaged members the opportunity to participate in leadership, welcome new supporters and help shape Prelude Society’s continued evolution.

Prelude Society members enjoy a variety of special moments throughout the season, including admission to the Season Finale Concert Dinner, one of the Symphony’s most anticipated events. Members also receive preferred subscription seating for Masterworks Series performances at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts and invitation to the Prelude Lounge before each show, a welcoming opportunity to connect with fellow concertgoers.

The ”Season Toast” was made possible by the gracious hospitality of La Goulue’s general manager Mathieu Potelle and was sponsored by La Goulue and Eric Malcolmson of Metals Mint. For more information about joining Prelude Society, please contact Renée LaBonte, Community Advancement Coordinator, at rlabonte@palmbeachsymphony.org.
