Endlessly creative and\u00a0energetic, the group continues its busy schedule of performances, residencies,\u00a0and recordings.\u00a0The ensemble has won three Grammy Awards, for the recordings <em>strange imaginary animals<\/em>, <em>Lonely Motel: Music from Slide<\/em> and <em>Meanwhile<\/em>.\u00a0eighth blackbird\u2019s members hail from America\u2019s Great Lakes, Keystone, Golden and Bay states, and Australia\u2019s Sunshine State.
