NEW YORK, NY -- The acclaimed New York City-based Argus Quartet, winner of the Concert Artists Guild Victor Elmaleh Competition and M-PRIZE, is launching the Argus Quartet Summer String Intensive, taking place Monday, July 27 through Friday, July 31, 2020. This 5-day online workshop is for violinists, violists, and cellists ages 14-19 who are looking to take their playing to the next level through intensive instruction and study. No audition is required. More information and registration at https://www.argusquartet.com/summer-string-intensive.

With the Summer String Intensive, the Argus Quartet aims to adapt and expand its educational offerings to meet the needs of students in the time of COVID-19. Created for students who are passionate about music, considering attending music school or conservatory, or hoping to pursue music professionally, the Summer String Intensive offers daily private lessons, master classes, group classes on specific instrumental techniques, and enrichment seminars covering topics such as performance anxiety, preparing for auditions, and navigating the business side of the music industry.

Applications will be accepted until July 22.
